Hi.

Do you know that you can buy canned soups, corn soup and onion soup for instance, from a vending machine in Japan?

People in Japan often buy them during winter to make themselves warm.

This winter, a new canned soup was released by POKKA SAPPORO Food & Beverage Ltd.

Since the release, it has been gathering people’s attentions, because of the innovativeness, gorgeousness and taste!

It is “Zeitaku Demiglace Soup (贅沢デミグラススープ),” which means a gorgeous demiglace soup with rich taste of vegetables and beef.

Though it is 170yen, a bit more expensive than other canned soup you can buy from a vending machine, but it’s worth the price!

You can find “Zeitaku Demiglace Soup” only from a vending machine with a mark “acure” in a station of JR line.

It’s next to miso soup. You may feel a bit strange.

Seeing nutrition fact on the can, a food which comes first is onion, which means that the soup contains onion the most among foods it is made with.

Next comes beef stew made with beef extracts, beef itself, sugar, chicken extracts, red wine and other foods.

It seems from the word on the can “vegetables and red wine melt in the soup,” that other foods mean some vegetables except onion.

The calorie of the soup is 37kcal per 100g.

The interior content is 170g, less than other beverages in a vending machine.

It mentions that you need to shake a can before opening it.

You can expect that many small pieces of vegetables are at the bottom of a can.

When you open it, firstly you’ll find the good smell of the soup from the can.

This time I transferred the soup to a soup bowl to see the color, texture and so on.

The only vegetable I found in the soup was onion.

But I’m sure other vegetables are melted in the soup because of its complex flavor coming from various foods.

You’ll soon find the sweetness of onion and the rich taste of beef.

Totally, it tastes deep, rich and nice, as if you order a soup at a restaurant!

It’s surprising that it doesn’t have a long aftertaste.

A canned soup with a long-lingering aftertaste wasn’t good to buy from a vending machine.

Don’t worry, this soup is not a soup with a long finish, thus good as a canned soup sold in a vending machine.
