1.The Ginkgo Avenue of Jingugaien(明治神宮外苑)

Jingugaien is the famous spot for its lines of ginkgo trees. The line continues about 300m. 146 ginkgo trees stand in a row on both sides of the street, the scenery is overwhelming ! If you watch from Aoyama Street, so beautiful and picturesque ginkgo view spreads in front of your eyes. You can also enjoy the Jingugaien ginkgo festival held from mid-November to early December every year.

Koishikawa Korakuen is the stroll Tsukiyama fountain Japanese garden built in early Edo period. And it has been registered as a special place of scenic beauty and historic site. In a sense, it’s a downtown oasis. You will enjoy four seasons of nature here. In autumn, dozens of maple trees are planted in the garden. Some of the superb view points are Tsutenkyo(通天橋)located upper stream of Ooigawa and Momijibayashi(紅葉林).

Rikugien is a representative Edo period’s stroll Tsukiyama fountain Japanese garden built in the early 18 century. It is attractive all through the year. But especially in autumn, you can enjoy superb beauty of nature. Inside the garden, it is so spacious, there are 600 maple trees and ginkgo trees, 450 Japanese maple trees ! Suikonoe(水香江) and Tsutsuji Chaya(つつじ茶屋)are the best spot. We also recommend you not only daytime garden but also night garden lit up.

Arisugawanomiya Kinen Koen is one of the largest and prominent parks in Tokyo. It’s about 67,000㎢. This park was once built as the Arisugawamiya residence, and is now managed by Minato-ku. Some of the most attractive points are the carpet of autumn colors turned in red and yellow ginkgo leafs, and wild bird playing in the mountain stream.
