Hello, today I would like to introduce a amazing shrine in Japan, is Nikko toshogu.
It located at North west of Tochigi prefecture.

Nikko Toshogu shrine worshiping the Ieyasu Tokugawa has been founded by second-Shogun which was the heir of Tokugawa 1617 Ieyasu Hidetada, but Toshogu at the time that was built was a simple structure at all different from a current figure.
It third-Shogun Iemitsu was renovated in gorgeous style, gorgeous figure from post-mortem 1634 through 1936 after passed away of Hidetada.
Renovation cost has been said that it took about 200~400 billion yen.
The third-shogun, Iemitsu Tokugawa had been believe that Ieyasu’s order make him to third generation of shogun so that because of the yearning of the piety of Ieyasu has been said that was erecting this gorgeous gorgeous building.

Asakusa – Nikko Tobu (express Kegon): takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes
Asakusa ~ shimo imaichi – Nikko Tobu (express silk + local train): it takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes
Asakusa – Tobu Nikko (Tobu Railway Rapid): takes about 2 hours and 5 minutes
Shinjuku – Nikko Tobu (JR limited express Nikko): takes about 2 hours
Utsunomiya – Nikko (JR Nikko Line): takes about 45 minutes
By car
Through the Nikko Utsunomiya road from the Tohoku Expressway Utsunomiya IC, go down in the Nikko IC.
