This time I would like to tell you about Tuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition which takes place yearly in Ibaraki in the beginning of October. It is the one of three major fireworks festival along with The Fireworks of Omagari in Akita and Nagaoka Fireworks Festival in Nigata.

Pyrotechnists around Japan gather in this competition and vie for the victory by their arts. It is not the ordinary fireworks festival but the very marvellous festival where they set off fireworks with full of their souls at the same time.

The competition is divided in three sections, Stermine, 10th rocket fireworks balls and original fireworks. The pyrotechnists set off their fireworks for each section. Not to mention, it is the one of the most beautiful and wonderful fireworks festivals in Kanto region. Many tourists visit the venue from different places every year.

 

When does it takes place in 2016?

It will be held on October, First (Saturday).
