‘Rusty’ will be coming! Oigawa Railway also holds ‘Thomas Fair in 2016’ which is an annual popular event

In ‘Thomas Fair’ held by Oigawa Railway, there is a sightseeing train by ‘Rusty’ which one of the famous characters in Thomas and Friends this year.

‘Thomas’ and ’James’ are planned to be coming as a pleasure train

Oigawa Railway recently informed that ‘Thomas Fair’ will be held from 11^th June to 10^th October when ‘Thomas’ and ‘James’ run.

In 2016, a sightseeing train, ‘Rusty’ which is a character of the diesel locomotives, will be introduced as a new attraction. This will run inside Senzu Sta. with towing a freight car. The fare is 300 yen each.

Additionally, there’re other events at this time. One of these is called ‘The gathering of Thomas and Friends’ that you can enjoy atmosphere which Thomas, James and others are chatting merrily. Another is that the work on the turntable is carried out for the train wearing Thomas’s costume.

The schedule of this event is from 10am to 4pm, and it costs 500 yen per person as an entrance fee. But a visitor who uses other train, except Oigawa Railway should pay 150 yen as an entrance for station.

At Shin-Kanaya Sta., the visit to the vehicle service factory is held at the same day of Thomas Fair. So you can attend a tour of Thomas and James, and ‘Bertie’ which is also Thomas’s friend will be coming on 2^nd July. Those who are fans of Thomas must check it out!
