The latest Prius PHV equipping 11.6 inch display will be exhibited at first in Japan
Toyota Motor Corporation will show the new model Prius PHV on ‘Smart Community Japan 2016’ (15th to 17th June) in Tokyo Big Site.
This vehicle which is the first public exhibition in Japan is planned to be on sale in this autumn. The solar charging system is also set on the roof in order to adopt the fast charge (CHAdeMO).
In this exhibition, they will introduce evolved PHV system on fuel efficiency and environment, the mechanism of the solar charging system, the function of the fast charge, T-connect SD navigation system with large display and so on.
This big display which Toyota adopts first brings together a variety of information, such as navigation and audio system, air-conditioning system as well.
This also has a HD display which pursues a visibility and you can control it easily like a smartphone.
When it comes to the navigation system, it gives you a widespread vies, and it can show you to two pictures simultaneously, navigation and other functions like audio.
On the energy monitor which 3D graphics is adopted, the flow of energy during running is expressed, and you can confirm and change the weekly charging schedule and timer charging.
Additionally, as for Japanese model, there is a wide solar panel on the roof, which can charge during parking, and it contributes to the improvement of fuel-efficiency to restrain battery consumption and to expand the distance of depending on a motor.
